A first novel about a college student involved in a murder was a
six-figure
world rights buy at St. Martin's Press, and the house plans to
sell foreign rights at the Frankfurt fair.
"Darkness in Him," by 27-year-old Andrew Lyons, was bought from
Joel
Gotler and Noah Lukeman at
AMG by executive editor Jennifer Weis. Movie rights
have already been sold, to Alan Riche and Tony Ludwig ("Mouse Hunt"
and "The Deep Blue Sea').
